Project Objective
The objective of this project was to create lifestyle photos demonstrating AllClair's practical use in an office setting. The concept focused on showcasing how the herbal inhaler integrates into a day at the office, helping users manage nausea. The desired aesthetic was a well-lit, open office space with natural light and plants to create a fresh and vibrant atmosphere, reflecting AllClair's emphasis on natural ingredients.
Production Challenges
The biggest challenge for this project included creating a convincing office scene within a studio environment that lacked a traditional desk setup. The brand also requested a very specific model demographic which is often challenging to organize. In addition, with a small product like this, maintaining focus on the product while also showing it in a wider setting requires styling and camera operation expertise.
Creative Process
To create a convincing office scene, I purchased inexpensive vinyl to recover an old desk to bring into the studio. I was able to find a model who met the demographic requirements and had the right wardrobe for the shoot within my network.
The shoot itself involved capturing a variety of images, including close-ups and wider shots, to highlight the small product while also establishing its context within the office environment. Additionally, I shot styled flat lays and vignettes incorporating office props to further enhance the brand messaging.
