Brand Overview
Kleenex, Americaโs #1 preferred ultra tissue, transcends mere utility. Their diverse designs fit any space, proving tissues can be stylish. For 100 years, Kleenex has stood by us in life's unpredictable moments, from sneezes to tears, offering comfort in every situation.
Project Objective
To create a series of lifestyle images showcasing the versatility and stylish integration of Kleenex tissues into various rooms of the home. The objective was to capture images of individual Kleenex cartons in a variety of settings, including the bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, living room, etc. The imagery should emphasize clean, colorful, and diverse aesthetics, with a focus on showcasing the Kleenex box as a design element that complements the overall home decor.
Production Challenges
Creating compelling imagery for mundane household products like tissues is a challenge I love taking on every time. It requires elevating the ordinary and finding ways to make the product visually engaging. Additionally, capturing a wide variety of shots featuring the same product in different settings can be difficult, requiring creative solutions to maintain visual interest and avoid repetition.
Creative Process
For this shoot, I utilized two distinct locations to provide diverse backgrounds and settings. My studio, with its kitchen, living room, and bright bathroom space, and an Airbnb with living room and bedroom spaces to add variety to the images. To make this household product visually interesting, I focused on using good lighting and spaces with stylish decor to highlight the design of the Kleenex boxes. Creating imagery of the product in use and in environments where it would naturally be found helped to create compelling and relatable marketing imagery for the brand.
