Creating High-Conversion Visuals for Home Storage Products
Brand Overview
Three by Three Seattle is a returning client known for their functional yet stylish home organization solutions. Their brand energy is vibrant and playful, focusing on making home life more organized without sacrificing personality. As a photographer they work with regularly, I understand their brand deeply and aim to deliver consistent, high-end imagery that promotes their latest product launches.
Project Objective
The objective for this shoot was to create a library of playful imagery for their new line of felt cubby storage bin organizers. I focused on showcasing these bins in a variety of realistic usage situations to help customers visualize them in their own homes. The final gallery needed to feel playful and approachable, highlighting the versatility of the products across different rooms and functions.
Production Challenges
The primary challenge of shooting regularly for a brand in the same studio space is keeping the imagery unique and interesting. To avoid repetitive visuals while still creating a consistent look for the brand, I had to find new ways to transform the environment and create a distinct look for this specific product line. I needed to ensure these felt bins stood out as a fresh addition to their catalog while maintaining the brand's established cohesive feel.
Creative Process
To bring a unique angle to this shoot, I brought in a new model who perfectly embodied the brand's playful energy, and we used a new cubby organizer in the studio to act as the primary anchor for the bins.
I maximized variety by moving the cubby unit to different locations within the studio, using specific prop sets to signify distinct rooms—creating believable "entryway," "living room," and "playroom" scenes. To further diversify the gallery, I styled the bins on various other surfaces and within different vignettes. This methodical planning and shooting allowed me to produce a wide range of unique, high-quality content that felt fresh and exciting for the brand.
