How do you get anything done as a momtreprenuer?

Friends, I’ve shared a lot on my Instagram recently about how the transition from one to two kids has been difficult for us. We’re still trying to figure it all out. I don’t have some magic formula to follow, but I do want to encourage my fellow momtreprenuers with a few things I’ve been learning lately as a work-from-home mom of two.

  1. Make a plan ahead of time for naptime. If I don’t have a plan for naptime, I will spin around in circles and get nothing done, but if I know what I want to accomplish during those precious 45 minutes when both kids are napping, it’s amazing how much I can get done!

  2. It will be okay if I don’t get those precious naptime moments. This is probably the hardest for me…when I have a plan and it gets foiled. I’m still working on not getting super frustrated when both kids don’t nap and I get nothing done in a day. I have to take a step back and realize that it’s really not a big deal.

  3. It’s okay to take a (big) step back. Yes, I have big dreams, but there will be time to pursue them more whole heartedly when my babies are a little bit older. There is a season for everything, right?

  4. Nobody expects you to be perfect...or answer emails within a day...so stop putting so much pressure on yourself! Stressing will just make everything worse. (Easier said than done, am I right?)
